“Completely Beyond The Rules”: Micah Parsons Ripped For “Inappropriate” Jayden Daniels Remark By NFL Analyst

On Tuesday, ESPN analyst Mike Greenberg criticized Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons over his recent remarks on third-year quarterback Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders. Mike Greenberg Slams Micah Parsons Over Offensive Jayden Daniels Comment Parsons called out Daniels on his podcast “The Edge” for a mistake at the end of the Commanders-Giants game. Washington was close enough to kick a winning field goal in overtime, but Daniels scrambled and got sacked with 14 seconds left and no timeouts. Parsons said the error was totally “inexcusable” and showed a lack of awareness. He questioned if Daniels is truly ready for a big $60 million contract and joked that the blunder could get coach Dan Quinn fired. “Jayden Daniels probably cost my man Dan Quinn his job, to be honest with you,” Parsons said . “I’m a big Jaden Daniels fan, but the reality is like he probably cost a lot of people their jobs this past weekend…” “There’s no way I’m taking a sack with 14 seconds left, no timeouts. Like, and then like this is just, and mind you, it’ll be different if Jayden Daniels was a rookie. This is your third year. You’ve been to the NFC Championship Game. You’ve been in big moments before. And to me, like even after sack, you’re casually getting up.” However, on ESPN’s “Get Up,” analyst Greenberg weighed in on Parsons’ comments, saying , “It is inappropriate for a person on one team to be commenting like this on the actions of other teams. I mean, it’s completely beyond the rules that have always existed in this and every other sport.” “So, I guess we’ve just decided now this is okay. We’re going to make unique exceptions for uniquely special play… there were 53 players on 31 other teams in the NFL and not one other of them had a comment on it except for Micah Parsons,” Greenberg added. Selected second overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, Daniels is on a four-year rookie deal worth $37.75 million. More News From Gridiron Heroics: “This Isn’t Real.
