Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson says he enjoyed having Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in attendance for their draw with Wolves on Saturday.
Lewis O’Brien cancelled out Adam Armstrong’s opener as Wrexham claimed an important point at the Racecourse Ground .
Co-owners Reynolds and Mac were in the stands for the game amid issues on and off the field for the Welsh club .
The draw sees Wrexham sit 15th in the Championship table heading into the international break and Parkinson says having their Hollywood duo at the game gave everyone a boost.
“It’s always very uplifting, I feel, for the people who work at the club, first of all, the players and the staff when Rob and Ryan come over,” he said.
“The crowd as well, they’re uplifted by the owners being in town.”
Asked if he had talked with the owners, Parkinson added: “I communicate with them when they’re back in the States, but equally it’s good to have a chat with them when they’re over.”
Following three league defeats in four games to finish October, Wrexham have beaten Middlesbrough and drawn with Wolves in their last two games.
And the Red Dragons have winnable matches against Lincoln City and Bristol City coming up after the international break.
Parkinson added: “After the defeat in Sheffield [to United, 1-0 on October 30], to go toe-to-toe with Middlesbrough and Wolves and to come out with four points – we have to be pleased with that.
“We asked the lads for one almighty effort. It was always going to be tough to completely match the levels from Wednesday night but there were times where I don’t think we were far away from them.
“You can have the meetings after the game at Sheffield, and you can put the work in on the training ground, but then it’s up to the players when they cross the white line to put that into practice, and show how much they care about the club.

“Caring about the club is running and tackling, we know that, but also concentrating on doing the role you’ve been asked to do with and without the ball.
“In terms of the honesty of the team, I thought that was ten out of ten today.”
He added: “I’m pleased with the lads, and it was another cracking atmosphere here. We’ll take the points to move into the international break.
“We’ve shown what we need to do. We’ve shown we can compete. We’ve had a bit of a reset this week, in terms of what the performances needed to look like for our supporters and everybody at the club. We really were ready for these two games.
“I’m glad the break is only two weeks, like I’m sure all of the other managers are too! For us, it’s about getting [injured trio] Josh Windass, Nathan Broadhead and Callum O’Hare available now. That’s the key.
“There will be a few days off, but we’ve always stressed to the players, you have to earn those days off. I think they have earned it with their last two performances.
“We have to make sure we have a real hunger and determination about the group.
“Now, come on, it’s a chance to get some work in the lads who need to work and build on what we’ve done this week.”
