‘It’s dark days’ – Willie Colon expresses his concern for NFL team

Former NFL player Willie Colon has suggested it is ‘dark days’ for the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens kicked off Week 9 of the 2026/27 NFL season, taking on Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night. They went into that game without star player Lamar Jackson and his absence did seem to be pretty noticeable. Baltimore ended up losing 33-10 with Joe Fagnano filling in at quarterback for Jackson, whose return date is currently not confirmed. Now, when appearing on Good Morning Football, Colon has highlighted how much the Ravens’ offensive line struggled against the Jags and suggested Derrick Henry is out of answers. He said: “Offensive line looked puzzled and frustrated. They couldn’t do anything. “I think Derrick Henry right now at the age of 33, I think he’s out of answers. He can only do so much.” He went on to explain that the Jaguars understood that the Ravens ‘could only beat them one way’, which was by running the football. The former NFL player finished by saying: “Right now, man, it’s dark days for the Baltimore Ravens.” While there’s not much to celebrate for Ravens fans right now, they may fancy their chances of securing a win in their next game as they are taking on the winless Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers are 0-7 ahead of playing the Houston Texans on Sunday.
