Saturday football open thread

Once again Tottenham Hotspur find themselves in the late slot in a Premier League match week. Usually the late spot is reserved for the best teams in the best games, right? At least that’s what I tell myself. So to put Tottenham Hotspur vs. Crystal Palace in the late slot (5:30 pm UK / 1:30 pm USA) means that Spurs are absolutely MASSIVE, right? You’re damn right. But there are a bunch of lesser games featuring lesser teams to come first. And we won’t talk about the periodic LATE late game, which is for losers. SEND POST. That’s what this thread is for. Let’s go.
