OGC Nice predicted XI v Angers: Axel Witsel to drop to the bench?

Axel Witsel quickly carved out a place in OGC Nice’s midfield since joining over the summer and he has even inherited the captain’s armband, however, he may drop to the bench for the visit to SCO Angers this afternoon. Instead, Olivier Pantaloni may opt for a midfield duo of Hicham Boudaoui and Djibril Coulibaly. It would see the captain’s armband handed to Youssouf Ndayishimiye, who is expected to start at the heart of the defence. There are no fresh injury concerns for Pantaloni to contend with, although the likes of Moise Bombito, Antoine Mendy, and Laurent Abergel all remain sidelined with long-term injuries. Ali Abdi is not fit to return either. The in-form Elye Wahi will lead the line, whilst Sofiane Diop may be preferred to Gauthier Hein on the right. Nice likely line-up v Angers Yehvann Diouf; Xavier Mandza, Youssouf Ndayishimiye, Mohamed Abdelmonem; Niels Nkounkou, Hicham Boudaoui, Djibril Coulibaly, Jonathan Clauss; Mohamed Amoura, Elye Wahi, Sofiane Diop.
