Another injured Lakers player will return on Monday

The Los Angeles Lakers will look to improve to a 6-2 record on Monday when they host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Miami Heat . They're coming off a 131-125 win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, and while they have some issues, there are a good number of things going right for the team. Just days ago, starting forward Ziaire Williams, second-year forward Adou Thiero and rookie guard Cameron Carr were all out with injuries. Carr returned on Sunday and got a little bit of playing time at the end of the contest, and on Monday, Williams will return, as he has been cleared to play. Thiero will still be unavailable. Williams had missed the Lakers' last three games due to foot soreness. He earned a starting job just prior to the start of the regular season, and he's averaging 11.3 points and 1.5 steals in 28.5 minutes a game while shooting 57.1% from the field and 46.7% from 3-point range. The team will need his length and defensive ability against Antetokounmpo, the two-time MVP and future Hall of Famer who is putting up 28.2 points, 12.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists a game to start this season. The Heat are 2-4, but both of their victories have come in their last two games.
