Bengals defensive back DJ Turner injured vs Titans in NFL Week 8

Cincinnati Bengals defensive back DJ Turner was injured during the fourth quarter of the team's NFL Week 8 game against the Tennessee Titans at Paycor Stadium. Turner remained down at the end of a play. He walked off the field under his own power, and went to the blue medical tent for evaluation. "DJ Turner looked like he hurt himself," CBS play-by-play announcer Tom McCarthy said during the broadcast. "He's shaking out that wrist." Turner went to the locker room a short time later. ESPN NFL analyst Field Yates explained why Turner would be his pick for the league's most underrated player . Turner was a surprise addition to the injury report on Sept. 10 with a hamstring injury and was a limited participant during the week. In 2025, Turner was injured during the third quarter of the team's  Week 15 loss  to the  Baltimore Ravens  at Paycor Stadium. Turner, the Bengals' second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft,  injured his hand  and went to the locker room during the team's  Week 8 loss  to the Jets at Paycor Stadium. Turner  suffered leg cramps  during the third quarter of the team's  Week 7 win  against Pittsburgh. Turner made an acrobatic  interception  just before halftime against the Steelers ,  catching the attention  of Thursday Night Football analyst Kirk Herbstreit. During the 2024 season, Turner  suffered a season-ending clavicle injury  during the Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Turner was flagged for pass interference as he defended the Ravens ' Zay Flowers late in the first half of the team's 2023 NFL Week 11  game  at M&T Bank Stadium, and Prime Video analyst Kirk Herbstreit was among those in disagreement with the call.
