Many rumors suggest the Cleveland Browns could eventually move on from wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
Throughout a lot of Jeudy's career, he's been an above-average receiver, and the hope was that he could come to Cleveland after starring with the Denver Broncos and be a guy who can make plays at a very high level. In 2024, Jeudy proved to be that, catching 90 passes for 1,299 yards, good for 13.7 yards per catch.
In 2025, he wasn't bad by any means, but his numbers were drastically lower, putting up 602 yards on 50 receptions, good for 12 yards per catch. It was an odd year for the veteran, though 2026 has been even worse.
Jeudy has taken a back seat to some of the young receivers in Cleveland, and according to the latest from one ESPN insider, it's possible that he could be traded over the next few weeks, though a lot of it will ultimately come down to what the trade market looks like.
“Jeudy has a line of eight catches for 81 yards this season, but he's still only 27 years old and two years removed from a 1,229-yard campaign for the Browns in 2024. It's tough to see a long-term future for him in Cleveland, but how he plays over the next few weeks might determine whether there's real interest at the trade deadline from a team that wants to give the 2020 first-round pick a meaningful role.
“If not, Jeudy might lose snaps to Boston, Concepcion, Isaiah Bond and tight ends in the second half of the year,” Bill Barnwell wrote .
I wouldn't expect Jeudy to have some massive market at the moment, as if he can't get touches in that Browns’ offense, there's an argument that he's not going to be able to do so in elite offenses for some contending teams.
At the same time, I assume that many contending teams around the league view him as an above-average option, so to see him go for a third-round pick or so might not be all that surprising.
However, anything more than that would be extremely unlikely.
