Is there bad blood between Hendrickson, Bengals? What ex-Bengal said
Former Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson was asked what he would say to those who suggest there was bad blood when he left Cincinnati as he and the Baltimore Ravens prepare to host their AFC North rival in NFL Week 7 at M&T Bank Stadium. "As a Christian, I forgive and obviously I move on," Hendrickson said . "And there's some wonderful times that I had there. Like I said, there'll be a time to reflect and all that stuff. But right now, there's an opponent in front of us. And as the Ravens, we look forward to capitalizing on everything that we can this week." Earlier in the week, Ravens linebacker Trenton Simpson told reporters he's predicting a multi-sack game for Hendrickson against his former team. Hendrickson, who played five seasons for the Bengals and  led the NFL in sacks in 2024 , has totaled two sacks in the four games in which he's played for the Ravens this season. He missed two games because of finger surgery. "(Facing Hendrickson will) be fun. It'll be fun," Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow said after practice Oct. 21. "I got to practice with him for a long time, and I'm sure he's excited to hit me a little bit after not hitting me for so long. Yeah, it'll be fun." "He's a good player," Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said of Hendrickson earlier in the week, per The Enquirer's Pat Brennan . "They got a lot of good players in their defense, and we got to put together a great plan and be able to execute it to give ourselves the best chance to win."
