Josh Hart names the one NBA team that has really surprised him so far this season

Josh Hart has now been praising the Memphis Grizzlies following their solid start to the 2026/27 season. The Grizzlies have so far played nine NBA games this term and have a 6-3 record. Ty Jerome has been one of their standout players during the early stages of the campaign and he was singled out by Hart when he was discussing Memphis. When appearing on the Roommates Show , Hart was asked: “Have any teams early on surprised you guys?” He responded: “Memphis, Ty Jerome too. He’s averaging like 40 or whatever. But this is why you don’t put too much stock in it, I’m not saying he’s not hooping, but nobody in the NBA will average 40 this season. “There will be ebbs and flows, some guys are shooting 74% from three. Are they going to shoot 74% from three all season? No, but granted, Ty is.” The Grizzlies’ last game saw them face off with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Cup on Friday night. They lost that tie 128-97 and will now turn their attention back towards the normal NBA season matches. Memphis are next in league action on Monday evening when they will face the Toronto Raptors, who are 5-4 at present. ‘That’s cold, that hurts’: Dirk Nowitzki responds after hearing what Luka Doncic said about him ‘Not good at all’: LeBron James makes brutal admission after 76ers’ 119-95 loss to Cavs ‘Hands down’ – Rival NBA head coach makes strong Luka Doncic MVP claim
