Barcelona planning three more renewals after extending Raphinha’s contract
According to Mundo Deportivo , Barcelona are preparing another round of contract renewals after securing Raphinha’s future until 2030 , with Marc Bernal, Brian Farinas and Gerard Martin next in line  After securing the futures of the core members of the team, the Catalan club now want to protect important young players. Notably, while agreements with Bernal and Farinas are already finalised, Gerard Martin’s renewal remains to be completed, with the club keen to reward his increased importance under Flick. Marc Bernal renewal is already agreed Bernal’s situation is the most advanced of the three cases because Barcelona have reached an agreement with the midfielder to extend his current contract, which runs until 2029, by another two years until June 2031. The 19-year-old has earned the club’s confidence through his development, and Barcelona remain committed to his future despite bringing Rodri into the squad.  Notably, the outlet clarifies that the formal renewal ceremony is not expected to take place immediately.  Brian Farinas has impressed Hansi Flick. Farinas next as Flick rewards another emerging talent Meanwhile, Barcelona are also preparing to formalise Brian Farinas’ contract extension after reaching an agreement over his continued stay.  The 20-year-old midfielder currently has a contract until 2028, but the club is working towards extending it until 2031. Farinas’ progress has been particularly encouraging for Flick, as the German blocked his proposed summer departure to Girona and subsequently integrated him into first-team plans.  Barcelona are working on Gerard Martin’s renewal. Gerard Martin renewal remains the final priority Gerard Martin, meanwhile, is the remaining case Barcelona must resolve.  The 24-year-old defender renewed his contract until 2028 in January 2025, but his importance has increased considerably since then. Initially viewed primarily as an alternative at left-back, Martin has established himself as a regular centre-back under Flick.  Unlike Bernal and Farinas, though, Martin’s renewal is not yet finalised , but it is known that there will be no hindrance in the negotiation.
