It hasn't been the season Texas A&M football envisioned but all is not lost. There remains a few opportunities for impressive wins. The 4-4 Aggies play host to Tennessee (6-2, 3-2 SEC) in a few weeks and could dash the Volunteers' College Football Playoff hopes with a win. Then of course there's the biggest game on the calendar each year: A&M vs. Texas. Despite being just 1-4 in conference play so far, Aggies fans no doubt would love an opportunity to blow a hole in UT's season. A final-week A&M win could doom a Longhorns squad with little margin for error when it comes to the postseason.  But what about this Saturday? Is Texas A&M in action during Week 9? And what's the rest of the Aggies' schedule look like?  Does Texas A&M play this week?  Nope. The Aggies have their lone "open week" or bye. Last week, the Aggies fell to Alabama on the road despite holding a lead. Next week, they'll play South Carolina.
