Lakers make final decision on Ziaire Williams for Friday's game

The Los Angeles Lakers will go for their fifth win in six games this season when they visit the Golden State Warriors on Friday evening. They defeated the Warriors 127-105 last Wednesday to start their regular-season schedule, and they're coming off a 103-87 victory this Wednesday over the Los Angeles Clippers despite not having Luka Doncic or Ziaire Williams in the lineup for that game. For Friday's game, Doncic will return to action, while Williams, one of their starting forwards, was listed as questionable due to a foot ailment. Unfortunately for the Lakers, Williams will not be available to play versus Golden State. Williams is off to a nice start this season for the Lakers. He's averaging 11.3 points in 28.5 minutes a game and is shooting 57.1% from the field and 46.7% from 3-point range, and he has also made some nice contributions on the defensive end. His improved outside shooting is a key reason the team came into Friday ranked third in 3-point accuracy at 39.2%. The team will return home to play the Toronto Raptors this Sunday and the Miami Heat on Monday before heading back to Northern California to face the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
