The last two teams standing in the American League face off for a World Series berth as the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians meet in the ALCS. Tampa Bay was the best team in the AL all year and looked the part in a Division Series sweep of the Yankees. Tampa Bay is in the ALCS for the third time and first since falling to the Dodgers in the World Series in the abbreviated 2020 season. The Rays also won their first ALCS appearance against the Red Sox back in 2008 before losing to the Phillies in the Fall Classic.  Cleveland reached this round two years ago before falling to the Yankees, with its last World Series appearance coming in the 2016 classic against the Cubs that left the city still awaiting its first championship since 1948.  While the Guardians will be the underdogs here, they certainly have the hot hand as Jose Ramirez flipped the switch and led them to three consecutive elimination-game wins against the White Sox in their Division Series.  Who will move on to the final showdown against the NL's best? Here's when and where to tune in to every game.  Rays vs. Guardians schedule Series tied 2-2 Date Game Time (ET) Watch Mon., Oct. 12 Game 1: Guardians 7 , Rays 3 — — Tue., Oct. 13 Game 2: Rays 3 , Guardians 1 — — Thu., Oct. 15 Game 3:  Guardians 3 , Rays 2 — — Sat., Oct. 17^ Game 4: Rays 7 , Guardians 3 — — Sun., Oct. 18 Game 5: Guardians vs. Rays 5 p.m. TBS, DIRECTV Mon., Oct. 19 Game 6: Rays vs. Guardians 8 p.m. TBS, DIRECTV Tue., Oct. 20 Game 7*: Rays vs. Guardians 8 p.m. TBS, DIRECTV ^ Game 4 was scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16 but was postponed due to rain * If necessary Where to watch Rays vs. Guardians TV channel: TBS Live streams: DIRECTV Every game of the Rays vs. Guardians series will air nationally on TBS.
