STAFF PICKS: No. 5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish VS Navy Midshipmen

The 6-1 Notre Dame Fighting Irish are coming off of a bye week and are the No. 5 ranked team in the country. This week they travel to the wicked smaht New England region to take on the Navy Midshipmen inside Gillette Stadium. Look… bye week prep is more exciting than Navy week prep so you’ll have to excuse the lack of excitement here for a game that just doesn’t move any needle, ever. Thank the football gods it’s a nooner and we can end this madness as early as possible to get into Miami week. Join the conversation! To be honest, it’s not really that exciting of a week all over college football (which secretly has me excited because those can turn into insanity pretty quickly — which we’ve already had a bunch of in 2026). Besides Notre Dame vs Navy, we have our eyes on these games this week: Wisconsin Badgers VS Iowa Hawkeyes Texas Tech Red Raiders VS Arizona Wildcats Florida Gators VS Georgia Bulldogs Northwestern Wildcats VS Oregon Ducks Utah Utes VS Cincinnati Bearcats Miami Hurricanes VS North Carolina Tar Heels Ohio State Buckeyes VS USC Trojans Just as we have in the past, we will be using Tallysight to keep track of our Notre Dame and college football picks this season. I highly encourage all of you to join in on the fun in the comment section below.
