Chet Holmgren injury update: OKC Thunder star out vs. Rockets

OKC Thunder star Chet Holmgren will not play in a road game against the Houston Rockets at 7:30 p.m. CT Saturday. This marks the third straight missed game for Holmgren, who's dealing with right knee patellar tendinitis. OKC (4-1) will also be without Jalen Williams (left ankle surgery), Cason Wallace (left shoulder labral tear), Alex Caruso (right ankle sprain), Nikola Topić (low back surgery) and Thomas Sorber (right knee surgery). Williams and Wallace sustained their injuries during OKC's win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. Williams underwent successful surgery on Wednesday and will be re-evaluated at the end of this regular season, while Wallace's timeline will be determined following his surgical procedure.
