Elijah Paige is viewed as top 10 pick in 2027 NFL mock draft

The impact of offensive tackle Elijah Paige on the USC Trojans ' offense has been evident all season long. He really has taken a step forward this season, and the experts are taking notice. In a recent first-round mock draft projection, NFL writer Rob Rang has the USC Trojan's draft stock skyrocketing. Rang projects offensive tackle Elijah Paige being selected in the first 10 picks of the first round. Here is what he had to say about Paige. "Regardless of whether the Texans can can right the ship this season, they are in need of upgrades at various positions. That includes left tackle, where second-year pro Aireontae Ersery has surrendered 25 pressures (and four sacks) so far this season. Elijah Page pairs light feet and balance with power and nastiness in the running game to be this year’s top offensive line prospect." Rang believes Paige can be the next Ronnie Stanley, and that is quite the compliment. Paige has been a force for keeping the Trojans ' passing attack elite and helping ensure the run game is great when it needs to be. A top-ten pick may seem very high in hindsight for Elijah Paige; however, when you look at his ceiling and potential, it is not out of the realm of the possible. It is extremely fitting that Paige is the next Trojan to join the Houston Trojans. He would fit in perfectly and would be a great step in the right direction to help franchise quarterback C. J. Stroud get the necessary protection he deserves. Paige will land in a great organization that, more often than not, is in playoff contention, and a landing spot that has had a great hit rate on developing USC Trojans.
