Myles Garrett is finally off injured reserve and could play against Washington this week. LA just got a positive injury update on Garrett that fans will want to hear about before Sunday’s matchup with the Commanders. Watch sports LIVE with fuboTV (free trial) Myles Garrett’s injury status vs. Commanders All signs point to Garrett making his triumphant return for the Rams in Week 9, per NFL insider Ian Rapoport. “Myles Garrett makes his dramatic return for the Los Angeles Rams today, finally. Remember Myles Garrett, who was the subject of that blockbuster trade this offseason going from the Browns to the Rams. Creating this superteam and all the hype around the Rams,” Rapoport said on Sunday via NFL GameDay Morning. “Well he hasn’t played since Week 1, kind of hobbled through that Australia game and had surgery to clean out his knee… It’s been about eight weeks for Myles Garrett, but he was at practice this week.” Garrett did not log a single stat in Week 1 and has not played since. That means Sunday’s game will be the first time he can make an impact for LA. Rapoport expects Garrett to primarily get pass rush duties in his first game back. “I expect a lot of Myles Garrett, mostly on passing downs,” Rapoport added. “This is someone I know the Rams are excited to see.” In other Rams injury news, Jaylen Watson and Terrance Ferguson have both been ruled out .
