Wild exchange leads to three technical fouls, ejection in Suns-Warriors game
SAN FRANCISCO – Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was ejected from Monday night’s game at Chase Center against the Phoenix Suns after receiving two technical fouls. Green was called first for a foul on Suns big Khaman Maluach on an inside basket with 10 minutes left in the third quarter after falling to the floor. Maluach appeared to have made contact with Green when entering the paint area as Green fell down. Green proceeded to throw the 7-footer down to the floor after the initial foul call. As Maluach laid on his back on the baseline, Green started walking towards him. Suns forward Dillon Brooks then walked from outside the 3-point line and ended up locking arms with Green. The two had to be separated by players, referees and security. After review, Green drew a technical foul for throwing down Maluach. Then Green and Brooks were given double technical fouls. A player is automatically ejected after receiving two technical fouls. Brooks received a flagrant 2 that's an automatic ejection in Phoenix's home loss Friday against the Denver Nuggets . He led the league in technical fouls last season with 17. Have opinions about the current state of the Suns? Reach Suns Insider Duane Rankin at  dmrankin@gannett.com  or contact him at 480-810-5518.
