Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie LiveStatsHub uses and what each one is for.

1. Strictly necessary

These keep you signed in and let the site work at all. The session cookies hold your access and refresh tokens, they are set only after you log in and are removed when you log out. Without them there is no signed in area, so they cannot be switched off.

2. Preferences

These remember choices you made: the language you picked and, in browser storage rather than in a cookie, whether you use the light or the dark theme. They hold no identifying information.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see in aggregate which pages are visited, which sports and teams people look at, and where they give up, so we know what to improve. It runs only if you accept it: until you do, nothing is requested from Google, no script executes and no analytics cookie exists. If you accept, the tag is loaded after the page is already usable and sets the cookies listed below. Google acts as our processor for that data.

4. How to control cookies

Your choice can be changed at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, at the bottom of this page as well. Switching analytics off deletes the cookies it set and stops any further collection. Independently of that, every browser can block or delete cookies in its settings and clear local storage the same way, and Google offers an opt out add-on for Analytics. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies signs you out and prevents you from logging back in, while the preference entries can be cleared at any time without breaking anything.
