Aston Villa vs Manchester City LIVE commentary: Erling Haaland ‘100 per cent available’ after rest as Johan Manzambi remains doubt

Erling Haaland is fit to start for Manchester City against Aston Villa this Saturday afternoon, live on talkSPORT. Haaland was rested in midweek as Man City beat AEK Athens 5-1 after picking up a knock against Ipswich last weekend. The superstar striker was seen hobbling post-match, raising concerns that he could be sidelined for Enzo Maresca ‘s side. However, Maresca spoke positively about his main man and has now confirmed that he is available to play for Man City at Villa . He said in his pre-match press conference when discussing his injured players: “Erling is the only one 100 per cent available.” Haaland has scored eight goals in seven Premier League games so far this season, netting twice at the Etihad last time out. His goals have helped Man City start the campain with seven straight wins, going unbeaten and sitting top of the table amid controversy regarding the club’s 115 charges and guilty verdict . A trip to face Aston Villa is next, with Unai Emery ‘s side in fine form, winning five of their last six in all competitions after a slow start.
